Thank You for Attending the
2022 Federal Contractors Conference

June 20-22, 2022 | Washington, D.C.

Notice of Vaccination Requirement

Washington DC currently requires proof of vaccination for admittance to hotel meeting and banquet facilities.

This also applies to restaurants, bars, and other places you may want to visit in the city. The order went into effect on January 15, 2022, and it does not specify an expiration date. This could impact the Federal Contractors Conference (FedCon).

To comply with this requirement, The Ritz-Carlton plans to require proof of vaccination and a government-issued ID in order to be admitted to its indoor dining, bar, fitness, and meeting facilities until the order is rescinded. Accordingly, if the Mayor’s Order is requirement is still in place at the time of FedCon, please arrive prepared to show a government-issued ID along with one of the following forms of proof of vaccination:

  • CDC-issued vaccination card (original, photocopy, or digital copy/photo)
  • Record of immunization from a healthcare provider or public health authority
  • COVID-19 verification app (e.g., VaxYes, Clear, Excelsior, MyIR)
  • World Health Organization Vaccination Record

Exemption from the vaccination requirement is provided to those entitled by law to a reasonable accommodation due to a medical condition or a sincerely held religious belief. To qualify for an exemption, you will need to show both of the following for admission into FedCon:

  • Negative PCR or antigen test result for COVID-19 from the prior 24 hours, and
  • Documentation of the exemption, such as a note from a medical provider attesting to a medical condition or a personal attestation of a sincerely held religious belief.
